The Amalfi Salon Orchestra 2009

During the past years the Amalfi Salon Orchestra has become a popular ensemble in China. In 2009 they were invited again in order to fulfill the audiences´ demands. This tour was named “My heart will go on”. The artists played many pieces of romantic salon music - with fine style.

At the same time, they were concerned with their representation in German media. A TV program of the West German Broadcasting Service reported on their once-again successful China tour.

Several concerts on an idyllic island off the Eastern China coast, in the Eastern Sea, took place in a beautiful surrounding and presented the musicians with enthusiastic reactions from the local people every time.

Thomas Bauer and his colleagues time and again manage to prove how music can connect people from such different cultural backgrounds – music is a universal language of emotions.
