The Amalfi Salon Orchestra 2008

According to the Chinese audiences´ wish, Thomas Bauer and his ensemble colleague Paul Tunyogi-Csapo started to arrange pieces for a new tour, including “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi. They also put these songs onto a new CD. The orchestra was invited to China again in order to present this production. The tour´s theme was chosen to be “Song of Spring”.

The experience this time was entirely different from last year´s concert series. They performed in festivals and were invited to TV shows on culture and music stations. Millions of Chinese listeners got to know them through these programs.

An invitation to perform a gala show at one particular hotel opening ceremony rounded off the memorable adventure this tour to the West of China was for the musicians.
